Comments on political blogs sometimes get pretty personal and often vicious. I really don’t understand why. I have conservative and liberal friends. We have different political views, but that doesn’t effect our friendship.

I remember surfing the cable several years ago and ending up on Cspan. George Bush (41) was giving Ted Kennedy the “Award for Excellence in Public Service” at the Bush Library in Houston. At the time, Ted Kennedy was saying some pretty lousy things about Bush 43. I remember thinking that if these two guys can put their politics aside and give each other glowing tributes… who am I to hate anyone who doesn’t have the same political views as I do.

Every time I see James Carville and Mary Matalin on Meet the Press, it reinforces this view.

That said… Please comment but please keep it civil. All the hate crap will just be deleted with no response.
