Russia invaded Georgia, they are the bad guys. Right?  But, are there other circumstances to look at?

Russia is saying they were “invited” in to South Ossetia, but they apparently marched right thru S. Ossetia into Georgia. This may or may not be true. I personally don’t believe much of what Putin or any of his puppets say. The fact that they invaded on the first day of the Olympic tells me they were trying to pull a fast one on the rest of the world.

But does S. Osettia want to return to Russia and cede from Georgia? We just have not heard much of what is reallygoing on in S. Ossetia.

I don’t have any answers here and am not sure where to find them. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The more you look at this the more it looks like this is about oil and gas, and mainly the pipeline through Georgia. If Russia controls the pipelines, it controls the energy to Europe. Over the past few years, European countries have been using more and more gas and oil from Russia.

Guess I was a little uninformed, more like clueless. It appears that the Soviet Union is back and up to it’s old tricks. I’ve tried to keep an open mind on this, but there is no doubt after Putin and the new Pres keep saying “Russia is withdrawing from George”, then they don’t… again and again and again.

Reports from internal Russia TV has even blamed Bush and Cheney! My goodness, add this to the never edning list of things that is Bush’s fault.

This doesn’t look good.
